Vielleicht finde ich noch irgendwo ein paar verbesserungsaspekte…

Meine Config muss ich dann ja nicht mehr wirklich posten… nachdem ich wohl mal eingesehen habe, dass meine ueber die Jahre verbastelte cfg mir fps Einbussen von mehr als 50% einbrachte, hat ein einfaches Uebernehmen von Rockis cfg alles wieder ins Lot gerueckt. Jetzt hab auch ich endlich ueber 100fps. Und nein, das nicht mit weissen Waenden und roten Models :wink:

Nur die bindings der Sprueche und einige Tasten hab ich dann noch anders liegen…

öh…ich hab meine q3-config noch nie geöffnet.
ich hab mir irgenwann mal master´s kopiert. aber das dürfte schon so 2 jahre her sein. für die paar mal lan, auf denen ich q3 spiele, taugt´s.
ausserdem is aus nem p3 650, gf1, 384@256 mb ram eh nicht so viel mehr rauszuholen. für instagib taugt´s trotzdem. :grin:

aber jetzt mal eine gegenfrage, warum meinst du, du bekommst nix aus deinem rechner raus matt ? beorn hat fast den selben rechner nur halt mit nem amd prozi und geringfügig mehr mhz. was nicht unbedingt ausschlaggebend sein dürfte. ich habe selbt mit meinem p2 400 mhz gf2 mx 400 knappe 100 fps hinbekommen, ohne irgendwelche “weissen wände und rote models” wie es beorn nur allzu gerne umschreibt…

meine meinung ist, das man aus deinem rechner viel rausholen kann, was quake angeht. :-þ

naja…mit der config geht vielleicht noch n bisschen. da kann man ja mal auf der lan schauen.
aber die hardware is praktisch nicht tweakbar. das mobo is schrott.

hmmm also das sieht ja noch schlimmer aus als bei CS :slightly_frowning_face: nur das bei Quake glaub ich keiner meckert oder gibt es keine verbotenen Werte @Ragna?

in quake ist alles ganz flauschig, daher gibt es natuerlich nicht so viele “verbotene” werte. man sollte z.b. keinen befehl in der config haben, der mit set ogc_* “1”** beginnt oder dergleichen. sonst ist so ziemlich alles erlaubt, bis auf picmip glaube ich noch… aber egal, bleib du bitte bei cs und laber die leute da voll, so wie kohl es schon sagte :grin:
